Mealtime Blessing

YathŒ vŒrivahŒ pčrŒ ; paripčrenti sŒgaraµ
Evameva ito dinnaµ ; petŒnaµ upakappati
Icchitaµ pattithaµ tumhaµ ; khippameva samijjhatu
Sabbe pčrentu saŗkappŒ ; cando paööaraso yathŒ
Maöi jotiraso yathŒ ; sabb“tiyo vivajjantu
Sabbarogo vinassatu ; mŒ te bhavatvantarŒyo
Sukh“ d“ghŒyuko bhava 
AbhivŒdanas“lissa ; Niccaµ vu¶¶hŒpacŒyino
Cattaro DhammŒ va¶¶hanti; Œyu vaööo sukhaµ balaµ

Translation

Just as the rain-swelled rivers fill the ocean
Just so may these offerings give benefit to the hungry ghosts
Whatever you wish or want, may it quickly come to be.
May all your intentions be realized ; just as the full moon
Or the wish-fulfilling gem ; may no distress at all be known by you
May all your diseases be destroyed ; may you meet no dangers
May you be happy and long-lived !
The one who is endowed with respect, generosity and morality
The one who always honours the elders
For such a one four qualities always increase ; Long-life, Beauty, Happiness and Strength !
