PharitvŒna mettaµ samettŒ bhadantŒ
AvikkhittacittŒ parittaµ bhaöantu
Sagge kŒme ca rèpe girisikharata e cantalikkhe vimŒne,
D´pe ra  he ca gŒme taruvanagahane gehavatthumi khette,
BhummŒ cŒyantu devŒ jalathalavisame yakkhagandhabbanŒgŒ,
Ti  hantŒ santike yaµ munivaravacanaµ sŒdhavo me suöantu
BuddhadassanakŒlo ayambhadantŒ
DhammassavanakŒlo ayambhadantŒ

Translation: All Around the World Systems (Calling the Devas)

Let those fortunate ones radiate metta
And listen to the chanting with undistracted mind.
In the lower and higher heavens, in mountains and in the air,
In islands, countryside and town, forests and thickets, villages and fields
Let those earth devas come, by land or sea; yakkhas, gandhabbas and nagas.
Wheresoever they may stand, may they hear the excellent speech of the Buddha chanted by me!
Now is the time to hear the speech of the Buddha!
Now is the time to hear the Holy Dhamma!
Now is the time to hear the chanting of the Sangha!
