A CREMATION
Wat Pah Nanachat was build on the traditional site for local cremations and the monastery has continued to provide this service to the local community. Of course this provides an opportunity for the monks to contemplate impermanence. While I was visiting, there was one funeral. The deceased was only 28 and had died of AIDS.
